'Jersey Shore' star Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino and wife announce birth of 3rd child

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, best known for his appearance on MTV’s “Jersey Shore”, confirmed the arrival of baby number three with his wife Lauren Thursday, adding that they were “overjoyed to announce the newest member of our growing Italian family.”
They are now officially a “Gym Tan Situation Family of 5,” with the addition of Luna Lucia Sorrentino, who was born Wednesday, March 6, he wrote on Instagram.
Sorrentino’s daughter weighed in at 5 pounds, 6 ounces and 18.25 inches in length, arriving at 3:49 p.m.
“3 under 3 will be quite the situation but we wouldn’t have it any other way,” referring to 2 ½ year-old Romeo and 14-month-old Mia Bella.

‘Jersey Shore’ castmates extend love on social media
Almost all of Sorrentino’s original “Jersey Shore” castmates offered thoughtful sentiments in the comments, including Nicole ‘Snooki’ Elizabeth Polizzi and Paul ‘Pauly D’ Michael DelVecchio Jr.
Snooki was one of the first to extend her congratulations to the happy couple, writing “Let’s go 3 club!!! So so happy for you both!!!!” in the comments.
Jennifer ‘JWoww’ Lynn Farley took a slightly different approach, offering the parents a simple “congratulations” followed by a couple emojis.
“Full house!!!! Congrats Mike And Lauren’s!!!” wrote Pauly D.
Vincent ‘Vinny’ J. Guadagnino acknowledged the moment by writing “Anotha one !!!!!”
Even the OG Jersey Shore account popped up in the comments, stating “WELCOME LUNA.”
“We're over the moon to welcome Luna Lucia to the fam. Congratulations @mikethesituation + @lauren_sorrentino,” according to a post by the show.
